Joining Gentle Procedures UK means you’re not starting from scratch — you’re building on a globally recognised, proven model with the support of a trusted brand.
Here’s why many doctors choose to partner with us instead of going it alone:
Proven Techniques – Train directly in the Pollock Technique® with hands-on support from experienced clinicians.
Turnkey Systems – Gain access to established clinical protocols, patient systems, branding, and operational tools.
Ongoing Support – Benefit from national marketing, compliance guidance, and a UK-based support team.
Faster Growth – Leverage the reputation and demand already established by Gentle Procedures to grow your clinic quicker.
Credibility & Trust – Patients are more likely to choose a provider backed by an internationally recognised name.
Launching your own clinic is always an option—but partnering with Gentle Procedures means you’ll do it with confidence, credibility, and full support from day one.
Yes. We offer flexible training pathways based on your clinical interest, qualifications, and the needs of your practice. You can choose to train in:
Circumcision only
Vasectomy only
Or both procedures as part of a comprehensive Gentle Procedures clinic
Your training will include hands-on surgical instruction, patient care protocols, and post-procedure management, all aligned with the Pollock Technique®.
Our goal is to ensure you feel confident, competent, and fully supported—regardless of the pathway you choose.
We welcome enquiries from General Medical Council (GMC) -registered doctors across all specialities. While many of our franchise partners have a background in general practice, urology, or surgery, we assess each applicant individually based on clinical experience, suitability, and commitment to training.
While there is no formal UK accreditation required for circumcision or vasectomy training outside of standard GMC and CQC expectations, our training is led by experienced clinicians using the globally recognised Pollock Technique®. You’ll receive certification upon completion, and full support in aligning your clinical practice with CQC requirements.
Training takes place at Dr. Pollock’s Vancouver Clinic in Canada, where over 5,000 procedures in circumcision, vasectomy and frenulectomy are performed each year.
Circumcision (for infants, children, teens and adults) and frenulectomy training generally requires one session/visit over 10 business days. While vasectomy training is two sessions/visits, booked within 4-6 weeks apart. Each vasectomy training session is over 10 business days long (20 days total).
Training is scheduled around your clinic launch for maximum benefit. We’ll handle the logistics – flights, accommodation, and transfers – so you can focus on learning. Our practical program gives you extensive hands-on experience to ensure you master each procedure safely and confidently.
There is some limited equipment needed such as the specialised instruments required in order to perform the two surgeries, sterilisation equipment etc. Gentle Procedures will source the necessary equipment and supplies for you.
Yes, participants in the program will have an exclusive territory. We will only train one clinic team per territory.
Yes. If you choose to join Gentle Procedures UK, you will enter into a formal franchise agreement with our UK Master Franchise holder. This agreement outlines your rights and responsibilities as a franchisee, including use of the Gentle Procedures brand, access to clinical and operational support, training, and territory protection.
We’re committed to building strong, long-term partnerships with our franchisees, and the franchise agreement reflects that shared commitment to quality, consistency, and success.
The investment required to start a Gentle Procedures UK franchise will vary depending on several factors – including the number of territories you wish to secure and the range of procedures you choose to offer at your clinic.
We provide tailored guidance during your Discovery Call, where we’ll discuss the setup options in more detail and give you a personalised overview of the associated costs and projected returns.
To explore whether this opportunity is right for you, we recommend registering your interest so we can schedule your call and share more information.
The timeline depends on your readiness and whether you’re establishing a new clinic or integrating into an existing one. Typically, the process from enquiry to opening is 3–6 months, including training, setup, compliance, and branding.
